Campaign: Foundry Forward Wikipedia Project

As part of the American Foundry Society's 125th anniversary, the AFS Marketing Committee is working to promote the fascinating manufacturing process known as metalcasting to the world. As the most widely used reference website, Wikipedia is routinely a top search result for most search terms related to the foundry industry, but the AFS page still lacks important details about our history, processes, alloys, casting end uses, economic data, and much more. The goal of this project if to work independently as contributors and editors to the AFS Wikipedia page, building out a fully formed public facing entry about metalcasting before the 125th Metalcasting Congress in April 2021.
