La campagna si svolge ogni anno, di solito alla fine settembre, coprendo Milan Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week e gli eventi organizzati dal Metropolitan Museum of Art. (EN) Wiki Loves Fashion is an international campaign ideated and run by WikiDonne UG for adding in as many language versions of the Wikimedia projects (Wikipedia, Commons, Wikidata, Wikiquote, Wikinews) content related to fashion (fashion industry, fashion designers and brands, haute couture & prêt-à-porter, clothing, accessories, models, unforgettable dresses, etc.). The campaign runs every year, usually at the end of September, covering Milan Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week and events organized by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Il gruppo WikiDonne, è uno user group italiano riconosciuto dalla Wikimedia Foundation, che ha iniziato la sua attività il 4 agosto 2016 con lo scopo di ridurre il gender gap nel mondo wiki attraverso la scrittura di voci, l’organizzazione di eventi e la collaborazione con gruppi analoghi a livello internazionale in quanto parte del progetto globale Women in Red.
The WikiDonne group is an Italian user group recognized by the Wikimedia Foundation, which recently started its activities inj August 2016 with the aim to reduce the gender gap in the wiki world through writing voices, organizing events and working with similar groups at international level as part of the global project Women in Red.
